Our mission is to continue the work of Linnea Audrey Dick who lost her life in May of 2008.  Linnea’s life was tragically and unexpectedly taken, but her spirit and passion for animals lives on through the Pure Hearts Animal Rescue that cares for animals in need by finding permanent and loving homes.

 Patches

Patches at 6 weeks old suffered a serious eye injury requiring its removal.    She had a brother (Silver) that was surrendered with her.    They have found a great home together.    Thank you Whitney Petersen for your donation that allowed us to help Patches!

Patches has recovered from her eye surgery and has been adopted with her brother Silver!

A fantastic family opened their hearts and home .

Yalissa, Amayah, Kerra, and Matei

They were found abandoned.  Their mother had not been seen for nearly 10 hours.  They still had umbilical cords attached; they were just days old.   Day turned into night and the sky became cloudy and filled with lightning, thunder and light rain.  They became extremely vulnerable.

   The rescue was called and the kitties had to be removed from the situation or face death.    They are currently in a foster home taking a bottle and doing great.

Yalissa (beautiful flower) is such a cute calico girl at 15 days old.

Amayah (night rain) is a grey, muted ,calico girl and so very cute at 15 days!

Kerra ( dark, dusky) is a tortie calico, and gets prettier by the day with her orange coloring emerging. At 15 days she is gorgeous!

Matei ( gift from God) is an orange and white male kitty that is so sweet! At 15 days he just melts your heart!

Tilt is a three-legged sweet boy!

Tilt is a 2 year old three legged boy that had a long and painful journey, but  is an attention seeker and lovable boy!    Tilt has found his forever home.    Thank you to everone who helped him on his journey!!
